About the Event
The Solstice 5K is a 5 km run/walk event taking place in Moncton, New Brunswick. The event occurs on the evening of Sunday, June 21, 2026, coinciding with the summer solstice. The start and finish location is Landing at the Bend, located at 300 Main Street in Moncton.
The event offers two participation formats: an in-person race and a virtual event. For the in-person event, participants run or walk the distance on-site. The virtual event allows participation from anywhere in Canada at one's own convenience.
All registered participants, both in-person and virtual, receive a pair of running shoes and a finisher medal. For the in-person event, the shoes provided are HOKA Rincon 4 models. Available shoe sizes are limited. Home shipping is an option for virtual participants.
