About the race
Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women - Moncton takes place on May 2, 2027 at Centennial Park, 811 St George Blvd, Moncton, New Brunswick. The event raises funds to support the Justice Facility Dog Program at the Courage Centre. The Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc. is the local registered charity; the centre provides support, counselling and housing to victims of family violence and sexual assault and serves more than 2,000 people each year. The Courage Centre offers 24/7 trauma informed and gender responsive services.
The event offers multiple in-person and virtual distances and categories:
- 1K Little Steps: youth T-shirt and finisher medal; participants must be under 12.
- 5K Walk: includes technical T-shirt and bracelet.
- 5K Run: includes technical T-shirt and bracelet.
- 10K Run: includes technical T-shirt and bracelet.
- Virtual 5K/10K Walk/Run: home delivery option for event items for an extra fee.
- Virtual 1K Little Steps: youth T-shirt and finisher medal; home delivery option.
