The event supports the "Little Courageous" trauma-informed daycare to be located at the Centre Courage Centre and operated by Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc. Beausejour is a registered charity that offers support, counselling, and housing to victims of family violence and victims of sexual assault, and provides services for emotional and mental health across Southeast New Brunswick.
The Courage Centre offers 24/7 services in a trauma-informed and gender-responsive facility that is presented as the first of its kind in New Brunswick. At the time of publication, Beausejour had raised $2,688.04 toward a $25,000 goal (11% raised), and 292 participants were registered.
