Funds raised for the 2026 Run for Women Moncton directly support the Justice Facility Dog Program at the Courage Centre. That program provides comfort and emotional support to survivors during interviews, court proceedings, and therapeutic sessions.
The local beneficiary is the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre, a registered charity offering support, counselling, and housing to victims of family violence and sexual assault, and to people with emotional difficulties and mental health issues across Southeast New Brunswick. More than 2000 people a year receive services at the Courage Centre, which provides 24 7 services in a trauma informed and gender responsive facility.
