About the race
Trailrun Terschelling holds its 11th edition on Sunday 28 February 2027 on the island of Terschelling. The event uses the island landscape as its setting, with forests, rolling dunes, long beaches and wide open spaces.
There are three recorded route distances, each on a distinct course that mixes forest, dune and beach and that leads participants to places they might not otherwise visit.
- 10 km: an introductory route for runners who want to try trailrunning.
- 15 km: a longer route that requires some trail experience.
- 25 km: a demanding route aimed at experienced trailrunners.
Participants are asked at registration to provide an estimated running time to reduce congestion on the routes and to help maintain a smoother flow for everyone. The 11th edition brings runners together from across the country and takes place entirely on Terschelling.
