About the race
The Trail Terrier Ultra Around Hamilton (TTUAH) is a running event hosted in Carlisle, Ontario. The course features a 100 mile route that circumnavigates the City of Hamilton. Participants visit all six communities within the city limits, including Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, Stoney Creek, and Hamilton. For the 2026 edition, the route follows a clockwise direction starting from Centre Road.
The event provides two distinct options for completing the distance:
- Continuous Ultra: Runners attempt to complete the entire 100 mile route within a 40-hour time limit.
- Stage Challenge: Participants can complete the distance in multiple segments throughout the month of June.
The event structure is designed to be inclusive, allowing participants to finish the distance in a single push or over several days. Support crews and pacers are permitted during the activity. All individuals who complete the full distance receive a commemorative belt buckle. Those who finish the continuous 100-mile run in under 40 hours earn a gold buckle, while those completing it over a longer period or in stages receive a pewter buckle.
