About the race
Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival on 21 February 2027 centred at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. The event offers a range of measured trail courses and age categories with explicit minimum ages for each distance.
Distances include:
- 51.6 km UTRA50
- 31.1 km TRA30
- 21.9 km TRA21
- 11.9 km TRA12
- 4.8 km TRA5 Support services include fully stocked aid stations, medical and first aid personnel at staffed checkpoints, live electronic timing and finishers medallions for all finishers. The event runs as a cupless format so athletes must carry their own cup, bottles or hydration pack. UTRA50 and TRA30 are semi supported with permitted support at specified locations and allow sealed support boxes at designated aid stations; TRA21, TRA12 and shorter distances are primarily self supported with limited on course aid.
Race headquarters and many pre and post event facilities are at Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa, which provides accommodation and on site amenities. Compulsory equipment checks apply for several distances and random on course checks can incur time penalties or disqualification for missing items.
