Trail Run Australia : Snowy Mountains (22 February 2026)

Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival with Race HQ at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa (1650 Alpine Way, Crackenback NSW). The UTRA50 on the Snowies is the host race for the 2026 AUTRA National Short Course Trail Running Championship. Courses use marked trails in the Snowy Mountains, including shoreline around Lake Jindabyne, the Thredbo Valley, snow gum forest, alpine meadows and granite outcrops. The event operates as a cupless event; athletes must carry their own cup, bottle or hydration pack.

The UTRA50 and TRA30 are semi-supported with fully stocked aid stations, permitted support boxes at specified checkpoints, and limited zones where external support crews are allowed. Compulsory equipment checks are required before the event and random checks may occur on course; missing compulsory items incur time penalties or disqualification. Minimum ages apply by event: UTRA50/TRA30 18+, TRA21 15+, TRA12 12+, TRA5 10+. Entries include race entry and a finishers token/medallion.
