Trail Run Australia - Snowy Mountains
Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival based at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in the Snowy Mountains on 21 February 2027. The event offers a range of marked and marshalled trail courses that run through alpine meadows, snow gum forests, riverbanks and lake shoreline around Lake Jindabyne and the Thredbo Valley.
Distances include:
- 51.6 km UTRA50 with +1,005 m elevation
- 31.1 km TRA30 with +690 m elevation
- 21.9 km TRA21
- 11.9 km TRA12
- 4.8 km TRA5
Race services include fully stocked aid stations, support boxes at specified checkpoints, live electronic timing, first aid on course and finishers tokens. The event operates as a cupless event so athletes must carry a cup, bottle or hydration pack for refills. Compulsory equipment lists apply for several distances and random equipment checks are enforced with time penalties for missing items. The UTRA50 and TRA30 are semi supported with assistance permitted only at designated locations; other sections are self supported.
Transport options to start areas are provided from Race HQ, and some courses pass through areas with limited vehicle access. The host resort provides onsite accommodation and guest facilities including spa, restaurants, pool and a range of outdoor activities.
