Trail Run Australia - Snowy Mountains (22 February 2026)
Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival held in the Snowy Mountains region with Race HQ at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa. The event hosts the 2026 AUTRA National Short Course Trail Running Championship on the UTRA50 course. The festival runs a mix of trail-based courses through Lake Jindabyne shoreline, Thredbo Valley and snow gum forest within Kosciuszko National Park. Race HQ facilities include onsite accommodation, spa, restaurants, a heated indoor pool and other guest activities.

Courses are mostly on trails with small sections of tarmac. Elevation for the main distances is published (for example UTRA50 +1,005m / -776m). Starts use different locations such as Claypits Park and Paddy's Corner; bus transport from Lake Crackenback to the starts is available for a fee. The event is cupless so athletes must carry a cup, bottle or hydration pack. UTRA50 and TRA30 permit support boxes and limited support crew at designated locations; support boxes must be sealed, waterproof, labelled and meet size limits. Compulsory equipment checks are required before collecting race packs. Aid stations, checkpoint medical staff and event first aid are provided on course. Minimum ages apply per distance. Championship eligibility for AUTRA titles requires Australian citizenship or permanent residency. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
