About the race
Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival hosted at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in the Snowy Mountains on 21 February 2027. The event uses alpine and high‑country trails around Lake Jindabyne, the Thredbo Valley and surrounding snow gum forests, meadows and granite outcrops.

Race services include fully stocked aid stations, support box collection points, live electronic timing, first aid on course and finishers medallions for all finishers. The UTRA50 and TRA30 are semi supported with permitted support crew at specified locations and allow athletes to leave sealed support boxes at prearranged drop points. Courses are cupless to reduce waste so runners must carry a cup, bottle or hydration pack for refills.
Compulsory equipment checks apply for longer events and random on course checks may incur time penalties for missing items. Minimum ages vary by distance and entries open in September 2025 via the event entry system.
