Trail of Honor: Cody Myers Memorial Race
On October 11, 2026, the Trail of Honor: Cody Myers Memorial Race takes place in Lock Haven, PA. The event is a community-focused trail race and ruck that honors the life and service of Cody Myers and supports a local scholarship.
Distances offered include:
- 4.5 mile run/ruck
- 9 mile run/ruck
The primary course starts and finishes at the Sons of Italy Campground and follows Scootac Road on an out-and-back route. Terrain is a mix of dirt and trail and is described as mostly flat and fast. The course records just under 900 feet of total elevation gain. Two stocked aid stations are provided roughly near mile 2 and near the turnaround around mile 4 to 5. Volunteers will be positioned on course to assist with directions and basic support, and the route will be clearly marked. The event is open to runners, hikers, and ruckers.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Cody Myers Legacy Scholarship, administered by the Keystone Central Foundation. The race is organized by Cody’s family and friends in partnership with the Keystone Central Foundation and the Sons of Italy Lodge #146, and it is presented by the Sons of Italy #146.
