Trail Loppet
Trail Loppet is an urban trail running event held in Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. The event includes multiple distance options on marked trail courses and a festival atmosphere at the finish with music and beverages.

All races start at Wirth Beach and finish at the Trailhead. Shuttle buses run between the Mortenson parking lot and the race start. Bike parking is available at the Trailhead and public transit serves the area. A bag drop is provided at the start; bags are transported to the finish.
On-course support includes portable toilets at each fluid station. The Half Marathon has four fluid stations offering Tailwind and water and one station with electrolyte gels. The 10K and 5K have two fluid stations offering Tailwind and water.
Free training plans are available for each distance and are provided in partnership with Performance Running Gym: a 10 week half marathon plan, an 8 week 10K plan, and a 6 week 5K plan. Athlete tracking is available for the Half Marathon and 10K via the Mtec Results app.
Awards are given to the top three overall men, women, and non binary finishers in each distance. Volunteers receive event swag and one complimentary beverage. Proceeds support the Loppet Foundation.
