Trail Loppet and Loppet Field Day
Trail Loppet is a weekend of trail running and family activities held in Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. The Saturday trail races on September 19, 2026 include three distances run on park trails. After the races, participants are greeted with music and receive a free Utepils drink.

On Sunday, September 20, 2026 the Loppet Field Day takes place at the Trailhead in Theo Wirth Park. The program includes untimed 1 mile and 0.5 mile trail runs followed by a variety of trail and field games and challenges. Events on Sunday include both competitive and non-competitive formats intended for children with a range of interests. All Sunday race courses start at the Trailhead and finish at Utepils Brewing.
The event uses park trails within Minneapolis and centers activity around the Trailhead area and nearby Utepils Brewing. The weekend combines organized race distances on Saturday with family focused runs and games on Sunday. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
