Trail and Ale 2026

Trail and Ale 2026 is a trail run and walk event held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Howard Watson Trail / Blackwell Trails entrance, 1285 Michigan Ave, Sarnia, ON, Canada. The event offers a live on-course option and a virtual option that can be completed remotely.

The live event is chip timed; an ankle timing strap and bib are provided for live participants. Registered participants aged 19 and over receive one can of local craft beer at pickup only, and the first 200 registered participants aged 19 and over receive a custom beer mug. Children aged 14 and under may participate in the 5K free with a registered adult; children receive a chip timer and a medal only.

Virtual participants may submit finish times for competition; chip timing is provided for the live event only. Prizes will be awarded for highest fundraising totals and best finish times across Men, Women and Kids categories for runners and walkers.

Routes proceed north on the Howard Watson Trail and dip into Blackwell Trails; 5K, 10K and a new 15K route are available. Funds raised support Rayjon Share Care projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in education, health care and women's empowerment. Local breweries and community partners are listed as sponsors.
