Trail and Ale 2026 : Sarnia, ON
Trail and Ale 2026 takes place on the Blackwell Trails and the Howard Watson Trail with access at 1285 Michigan Ave in Sarnia. The live event is scheduled for September 19, 2026 and a virtual option is available.

The live route heads north on the Howard Watson Trail from Michigan Ave and dips into the Blackwell Trails. This is a timed event; live participants will receive a bib and chip-style timing device. Children 14 and under may participate in the 5K run or walk for free when accompanied by a registered adult; they receive a chip timer and a medal only.
The virtual run/walk can be completed between September 1 and September 18, 2026 and virtual participants may submit finish times for competitive results where applicable. Race kits are scheduled for pickup on Friday, September 18 at Refined Fool, 1326 London Rd in Sarnia; morning‑of pickup is available for those who cannot make the Friday pickup.
Participants aged 19 and over receive one local craft beer can or a mug at kit pickup; the first 200 adult registrants receive a custom beer mug. Prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers and best finish times across categories for men, women and kids in running and walking. Funds raised support Rayjon Share Care programs in Haiti and the Dominican Republic focused on education, health care and the empowerment of women. An after event gathering is planned at SPORTS behind Refined Fool and family friendly nonalcoholic options will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
