Track Race Series - Sandown
Ryde Harriers is hosting a monthly track race series at The fairway Sandown as part of the club’s summer programme. Races will run approximately once a month from May to September and are open to island clubs as guest entrants.
Entry is requested via a free online portal so estimated finish times can be collected; entry on the day is accepted but online registration is preferred. Non-Ryde Harriers pay a contribution of £1.50 each evening at number collection. Race numbers are collected from the track-side cabin and competitors must also register with officials at the track.
Club T-shirts or vests are to be worn. The pre-entry list closes 24 hours before each race. Toilets and free parking are available at the venue.
Race dates and distances:
- 30 April 2026 - 5,000m (15 and over)
- 21 May 2026 - 3,000m (13 and over)
- 25 June 2026 - 10,000m IOW Championship (17 and over)
- 30 July 2026 - 5,000m IOW Championship (15 and over)
- 27 August 2026 - 3,000m (13 and over)
- 24 September 2026 - 1 mile and 4x400m Relay (any age)
UKA Rule 141 S2 maximum track distances by age will apply and are the responsibility of the competing club. At this time none of the races have a track licence, so results will not be submitted to Power of 10. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
