Town Crier Races : event overview
The Town Crier Races are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026 in Saugatuck, Michigan (401 Elizabeth St, 49453). The event program includes multiple race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Walk
- Kids Fun Run
Registration for the events opens January 1, 2026. Published entry fees are $65 for the half marathon, $35 for the 10K, $25 for each 5K option, and $0 for the Kids Fun Run.
Features, course and beneficiaries
The courses run along the lakeshore in the Saugatuck/Douglas area. All participants receive a finisher medal, a custom bib, a specially designed T-shirt, and a Certificate of Race Completion. Participants are eligible for age group awards. Event proceeds provide most of the funding for the Saugatuck High School Cross Country and Track Teams, with more than $129,000 donated since 2002.
