Tour de Tinsel 5K : LaGrange, Georgia
The Tour de Tinsel 5K is a nighttime road race through historic downtown LaGrange, Georgia. The course passes through Lafayette Square twice and features the town’s Tinsel Trail, a display of more than one hundred decorated Christmas trees and holiday lights. Participants run on a route that starts and finishes on the lawn at Sweetland Amphitheatre at 110 Smith Street.
The event is part of a full weekend of holiday activities, including a tree lighting, a Sip & Shop boutique event, and an After Party at Sweetland Amphitheatre with a live DJ, awards presentations, costume awards, and local vendors. Sweetland On Ice offers ice skating nearby, with discounted tickets available to race participants. Organizers note that each runner should carry a headlamp or flashlight to navigate the course after dark.
Race entry includes a short-sleeved performance t-shirt for those registered by November 1, 2026, a race swag bag, After Party access, and a discount for Sweetland On Ice. A special category for firefighters is listed in race information.
