Event details
The Iron Horse 5K takes place on February 21, 2026 in Pine Mountain, GA. The event offers two entry options: the Iron Horse 5k and the Iron Horse 5k Phantom Runner. Entry fee for each event is $35 and registration closes on February 19, 2026. The course is an out-and-back on the Man O’ War Railroad Recreation Trail, beginning at Highway 354 and heading south toward Callaway Gardens. First overall male and female finishers receive a $150 cash prize.
Logistics and extras
The race location is Iron Horse Grill, 5700 SR-354, Pine Mountain, GA 31822. Packet pickup is held in front of Iron Horse Grill on race day. There is parking available in the large lot in front of the grill. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. Participants will receive an Iron Horse commemorative beanie. A phantom race entry is available for those who do not run in person and still wish to support the fire department.
