Tour de Pain
The Tour de Pain is a series of three road races held at Prominence Business Park in Jacksonville. Participants may enter one, two, or all three races. A finisher medal and series awards are given only to participants who complete all three events.
All races start and finish on Liberty Ridge Road at Prominence Business Park, 8900 Prominence Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Course features include water stations and post-race refreshments. Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports locations prior to the event.
Race distances include:
- 4 Mile Run
- 5K Road Race
- Road Mile, two loops of a half mile course
Event entry includes a moisture-wicking tank top for participants. Series prize money is offered for top overall finishers and a masters prize is available. Age-group awards are based on combined time across all three events and top three in each age division are recognized. A post-race celebration and awards ceremony follow the final race, and a beer garden is available after the final event. The event supports local high school cross country and track programs, summer camp scholarships for high school athletes, and construction of a new three-mile running trail at Aterro Recreation Park.
