Event overview

Tour de Dodge is a trail running event at Governor Dodge State Park in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, held on March 7, 2026. This is the fourth annual running of the event. Proceeds are split between the Friends of Governor Dodge and the Driftless Area Land Conservancy.

Distances

  • 50K - ~4,000 ft elevation gain; 9-hour cut-off; 5 aid stations, 2 visited twice
  • 27K - ~2,500 ft elevation gain; 7-hour cut-off; 4 aid stations
  • 10K - 900 ft elevation gain; no cut-off; 1 aid station

Course and support

Aid stations provide water, soda, peanut butter and jelly, fruit, salty snacks, and candy. Portable bathrooms are available at regular intervals along the courses. The organizer may modify or cancel the event due to trail conditions, natural disasters, weather, pandemic, or at the request of the Wisconsin DNR or local officials.

Logistics and participant items

The race takes place during turkey hunting season; participants are advised to wear blaze orange or other high-visibility gear. The event will be held in rain, snow, or shine unless altered for safety. Participants receive a custom DTC Silo shoe bag for registering or participating, and each finisher receives a horseshoe medal. Top three finishers in each gender category (men, women, non-binary) receive customized versions of the prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
