The Toughest 10K in Texas is an annual running event held in Lampasas, Texas. Hosted by the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center, the race coincides with the Annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival. The event serves as part of the 2026 Centex Race Series, with points awarded for both the 5 km and 10 km distances. Proceeds from the event are directed toward community scholarships and local non-profit donations.

The race utilizes chip timing for all participants. Runners are staged at the start in order of their specific race distance, beginning with the 10 km, followed by the 5 km, and finally the 1 mile. The course includes five water stops for hydration and basic first aid assistance. Participants should be aware that portions of the course remain open to vehicular traffic. Jogging strollers and dogs are permitted but are required to start at the back of the group.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in 14 different age categories ranging from 0-11 to 70 and over. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce, where the first 200 participants receive a race bag. Post-race snacks and water are provided for all runners at the finish area.
