Up Around The Bend Trail Run
Up Around The Bend is a trail running event set in Colorado Bend State Park in Bend, Texas (1201 Colorado Park Road, Bend, TX 76824). The event offers several race distances and a youth trail run on February 20, 2027. Registration opens in summer 2026.

The course includes terrain changes, creek crossings, riverside trail, technical single track, and elevation sections with park views. The longer distances (13.1 mi, 26.2 mi, 52.4 mi) use three aid stations including the start/finish; one station is passed twice on a loop at Lemon Ridge. Two aid stations are fully serviced and one is water only. The 10k uses two aid stations, both fully serviced.
Fully serviced aid stations provide a mix of solid and liquid fuel such as cookies, PB&J sandwiches, oranges, bananas, watermelon, pickles, pickle juice, fruit snacks, chips, soda, electrolyte drinks, and salt supplements. This event is cupless; participants should bring their own cup, bottle, or hydration system.
All finishers receive medals; participants who attempt but do not finish may receive a commemorative medal. Awards are given to the top overall male and female based on gun time. Pacers are permitted for the 52.4 mi after the second lap with event registration and a special event fee; pacers must start and end at the race hub and only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time.
