Event Overview
Tough Mudder Twin Cities is an obstacle course event located at Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo, Minnesota, approximately one hour from downtown Minneapolis. The course features a variety of terrain, including tree-lined trails that pass through wooded areas. Participants navigate through mud and diverse landscapes designed to test physical and mental stamina.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from several event formats based on their preferred distance and obstacle count:
- 5K: A course featuring 12 or more obstacles.
- 15K: A longer course featuring 20 or more obstacles.
- Infinity: A multi-lap format where participants complete as many 15K or 5K laps as possible within the allotted time.
Obstacles and Features
The course includes signature obstacles such as the Pyramid Scheme, which requires teamwork to scale a 15-foot wall, and Funky Monkey, a set of monkey bars over water. Other challenges include Cry Baby, a crawl through a proprietary mist.
Finisher Rewards and Amenities
All participants who complete their respective courses receive official finisher items, including a 2026 performance shirt, a signature orange headband, and a finisher medal from the Hex System collection. A complimentary beverage is provided at the finish line. Event logistics such as parking and bag drop services are available on-site.
