Indiana Mud Run Event Overview
Tough Mudder Indiana takes place at CERAland Park in Columbus, Indiana. The venue is a large sports and outdoor campground situated within the Midwest plains. The course features a flat and fast track that transitions between narrow, tree-lined lakeside trails and open farmland sections. Participants navigate a variety of terrains, including dirt paths and sections of thick Midwestern clay.
The event offers two primary distance options:
- 15 km: This course includes more than 20 obstacles.
- 5 km: This course includes more than 12 obstacles.
Obstacles found on the course include Augustus Gloop, an enclosed tube climb with water spray; Arctic Enema, an ice-filled pit; and Electric Eel, a water crawl through electrical wires. The event focuses on teamwork and camaraderie as participants work together to complete the challenges.
Finisher materials provided to those who complete the course include a 2027 finisher medal from The Hex System, a finisher t-shirt, and an orange headband. A celebratory drink is also available at the finish line. The venue includes a Mudder Village Festival featuring live entertainment and local food options.
