Teams consist of three women and the course is approximately 6 km in length; course distance may vary by venue but is designed to be time-equivalent to a flat 6 km cross country course.
The event features outdoor terrain that can include farmland and natural bushland, with obstacles such as mud pits, climbing walls, and crawling tunnels.
