Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2026
The Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series is a nine-event running and walking series held at two park venues in Auckland: Auckland Domain and War Memorial Park (Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill). Events run through the year with multiple races staged at each venue.
Distances available across the series include:
- Half-Marathon 21.1 km
- Quarter-Mthn 10.55 km / 10.55 km
- 10 km
- 10-Mile Classic 16.1 km
- 5.6 km and 4.5 km
- Children's 2.5 km and 1.5 km
Courses are measured and certified, with kilometre markers, lap counters on specified races, and a lead cyclist plus course marshals for guidance. Aid stations provide water and electrolyte drinks at regular intervals. A strict time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes applies to half-marathon and 16.1 km events.
Entry options include online discounts for multiple-series entries and reduced youth and children rates. On-the-day entries are available at a higher fee. All finishers receive accurate timed finisher certificates and post-race food and drinks. Awards include trophies and medals for age and place categories across distances.
Facilities at each venue include plentiful free car parking, a registration tent with bib collection and secure gear storage, and a first aid kit at the information tent. There are no road closures at either venue; normal pedestrian and road rules apply and participants must follow marshal instructions.
