Event overview
The Toronto Carnival Run is a Caribbean-inspired running event held in Toronto on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Founded in 2016, the event is officially sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and supports the Simunye Foundation, a nonprofit focused on African Canadian history and culture. Entry includes a race bib with chip timing, optional race swag, a finisher’s medal, and complimentary baggage drop off. A virtual race option is available; virtual entries receive a bib (not chip timed), race swag, and a finisher’s medal that is mailed after the event.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back route that begins at Sir Casimir Gzowski Park and heads east along the Martin Goodman Trail on Toronto’s lakeside waterfront. Water stations are provided approximately every 2.5 km and at the finish. Portable and public washroom facilities are available at the start/finish area and several nearby parks and venues. Race kit pickup is available at Soul Fuel Fitness on July 23 and July 24. Parking options are listed near Lake Shore Blvd W, including the Sir Casimir Gzowski Park lot, Humber Bridge parking, and Budapest Park lot. Entry fees are non-refundable; transfers and distance changes are permitted with conditions and deadlines. Group discount of 10% applies for single transactions of five or more participants.
