The Runners Shop Sunset Shuffle
The Sunset Shuffle is an evening running event held on Wards Island in Toronto. The race features a flat and fast course set against the backdrop of the city skyline during the golden hour. Participants access the event via the Toronto Island ferry, which provides views of the harbor and city.
The event offers the following race options:
- 5 km: A flat course that begins and ends at Wards Island.
- 1 mile: A fast point-to-point race that serves as the opening event.
- 5 km and 1 mile combo: An option for participants to complete both distances.
A post-race BBQ is held for participants to celebrate their finish. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the first-place male and female runners in the Masters (40+) category.
