Event details
The Sunset Shuffle takes place on August 6, 2026 on Wards Island, Toronto, ON, Canada. It is an evening run on the island with city skyline views available during ferry travel and a late afternoon to evening atmosphere.
The event offers multiple race options and a combined entry for participating in both distances on the same night. The 1 Mile is described as a fast point to point race. The 5K is presented as a flat, fast course that begins and ends at Wards Island. A post race barbecue is planned.
The event supports fundraising for Hopes Rise, an after school program that combines running, reading and leadership activities for children and provides free running shoes and books. Fundraising activity and a financial goal are part of the event.
