The Runners Shop Sunset Shuffle
The Runners Shop Sunset Shuffle is an evening running event on Wards Island in Toronto. The event features island races and offers skyline views from the ferry ride.
Distances offered
- 5K - out-and-back course
- 1 Mile - fast point to point
- 5K and 1 Mile combo - entry for both races
The main course is an out-and-back that begins at the Wards Island Ferry Dock, proceeds to Centre Island for 2.5 km, then turns around. The ferry is the required means of access to the island for participants.
Registration includes race entry and the post-race meal. A post-race BBQ is included with registration, and additional BBQ tickets can be purchased for family or friends.
Awards are presented for overall male and female top three finishers and for the first masters male and female 40 plus. The event supports Hopes Rise, a running, reading and leadership program for children that provides shoes and books through donations. The event lists HOKA among its sponsors.
