Torbay Triathlon Relay
The Torbay Triathlon Relay takes place at Torbay Velopark on 4 April 2026. The event features two relay formats run one after the other at the same venue, organised by Sportiva Events.
The Standard Team Relay is for teams of two or three. Team members divide the swim, bike and run legs so that one person may complete the swim, another the bike and a third the run.
- 400m swim (16 lengths)
- 19.5K bike (13 laps)
- 5K run (2 laps)
The Mixed Team Relay uses teams of four with at least two female members. Teams are made up of two female and two open participants who each complete a super sprint triathlon before tagging the next teammate. All male teams or teams that are 75 percent male will have results published but will not be eligible for prizes.
- 300m swim (12 lengths)
- 7.5K bike (5 laps)
- 1.8K run (1 lap)
Both relay events start in waves of up to 12 swimmers, with two swimmers per lane staying on their own side of the lane to avoid overtaking. Entry is open to entrants aged 13 and over on 31/12/2026.
