Torbay Triathlon Relay
The event is scheduled for 4 April 2026 at Torbay Velopark, Paignton. It is organised by Sportiva Events and takes place as two relay formats run one after the other on the same day. Entry categories listed include a standard team relay entry and a mixed relay team member entry. Prices shown are £51.00 for a standard relay team and £28.00 per mixed relay team member. The event is open to entrants aged 13 and over on 31/12/2026.
Format and distances
Standard team relay
- Team size: 2 or 3 competitors per team, any mix of genders.
- Distances: 400m swim (16 lengths), 19.5K bike (13 laps), 5K run (2 laps).
Mixed team relay
- Team size: 4 competitors per team, minimum 2 female members; all-male or 75 percent male teams are permitted but not eligible for prizes.
- Each team member completes a super sprint triathlon before tagging the next teammate.
- Distances: 300m swim (12 lengths), 7.5K bike (5 laps), 1.8K run (1 lap).
Both relays start in waves of up to 12 swimmers. There are two swimmers per lane, each keeping to their own side of the lane so overtaking in the pool is not required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
