Topeka Turkey Trot
The Topeka Turkey Trot is the 2nd annual running event organized by Fleet Feet, held on November 26, 2026 at Forbes Field, 7016 SE Forbes Ave, Topeka, KS 66619. The event offers multiple race distances for a range of participants and continues the community-focused tradition established in the inaugural year.
The course is USATF certified, entirely flat and paved, and follows the wide asphalt airport taxiways and access roads surrounding Forbes Field. The event location includes a partnership with the Combat Air Museum. The kids 1K is scheduled as the finale so parents who are running can help or watch the children's race.
Race distances and fees:
- 10K race, registration fee $30
- 5K race, registration fee $25
- Kids 1K race, registration fee $5
Registration opens January 6, 2026. Registration closes August 31, 2026 for the 10K and 5K, and August 30, 2026 for the Kids 1K.
