Tom McHugh Run for the Arts 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place on October 10, 2026, at Waterman's Crab House & Dock Bar, 21055 East Sharp Street, Rock Hall, MD 21661. Proceeds support the Tom McHugh Arts Scholarship award for a Kent County High School graduating senior pursuing arts studies, and a portion benefits the Rock Hall Elementary School Arts Program.

- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kiddie Run (100 yards) free for children age 10 and under
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles)
Registration opens February 6, 2026, and closes October 2, 2026. The standard registration fee listed is $30. The first 75 registered participants are scheduled to receive a tank top. Virtual participants may run anywhere on October 10; shirts for virtual entries require pickup arrangements with the race director because shirts will not be mailed.
Awards are planned for multiple categories, including overall male and female runners, masters (40+) overall male and female, 10-year age group overall male and female runners, overall male and female walk finishers, and 10-year age group walkers. The awards presentation is scheduled to follow the finish of the event.
