Todd Beamer Memorial Run : Madras, Oregon
The Todd Beamer Memorial Run is an annual road race held on July 4, 2026, at Sahalee Park in Madras, Oregon. The event marks its 29th year and commemorates a young man remembered for helping others; the run carries a theme based on his legacy.
Racers may choose among three distances:
- 10k Run
- 5k Run / Walk
- 2 mi Run
All races start and finish at Sahalee Park. Competitive runners are transported to starting points on Grizzly Road. The 5k begins partway along the 10k route, and the 2-mile event is an out-and-back from the start. The 10k course is mostly downhill, enters Madras from the east with views of the Cascade Range, and uses gravel for the first four miles with blacktop for the final two miles.
Proceeds support scholarships for student-athletes through the Todd Beamer Memorial Fund and the Jefferson Scholarship Foundation. Registration rates listed by the organizer include $25 for adults, $15 for ages 13 to 17, and free entry for those 12 and under. Online registration is available until July 2; race day registration is offered on site with an increased fee. An award ceremony follows the races.
