TMC Tucson 10k

The event is a race day held at Pima Community College West Campus in Tucson, Arizona, featuring multiple distances on courses that pass through the Tucson Mountains and Painted Hills with panoramic views of the Tucson Basin. The 10 kilometer course starts at Pima College West and follows the rolling hills near Starr Pass and Gates Pass.

Staging is in the shaded middle courtyard at the Pima Community College West Campus, with space for pre race and post race activities including music, activities, and snacks and food trucks. Packet pickup and registration are available the day before at a local running shop and on race morning at the college site. Souvenir shirts and medals are available to the first 1000 registrants and shirts are first come first served in women and unisex cuts. Items for registrants who cannot attend race weekend will be available at the running shop through the end of September.

Timing and awards use chip timing for age group awards. The event notes accessibility for chair athletes with smooth course surfaces on the hills. Beneficiaries include the Southern Arizona Roadrunners and the BEYOND Tucson Foundation. The event is developed and produced by an experienced local race organization in partnership with a local non profit running club and is RRCA race director certified.
