Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run
The 10th annual Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run takes place on 12/06/2026 at the Tucson JCC in Tucson, Arizona. The event includes timed and untimed runs that start and end in the Jill Rosenzweig Memorial Sculpture Garden and use an out-and-back course on the Rillito River Path.
Distances offered:
- 5k run and walk on the Rillito River Path.
- 1 mile run and walk on the same out-and-back course.
- 1k free fun run and walk open to all ages.
The course combines dirt and paved terrain. Registration for the 5k and 1 mile includes a race shirt; 1k participants may purchase a shirt for $15. To guarantee a shirt size, register before 11/15. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled at the Tucson JCC on Friday 12/4 from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Top finishers receive a race mug or tumbler depending on placement and division. The 5k age divisions include 12 & under, 13-17, 18-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, and 76 & up. The 1 mile divisions are 12 & under, 13-17, and 18 & up. All participants are offered hot chocolate and sufganiyot at the finish. Random raffle prizes include a Southern Arizona Roadrunners membership and a free three month Tucson JCC membership.
