Event details
The Hanukkah Hot Cocoa Run is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Tucson JCC, 3800 E River Road, Tucson, AZ 85718. The event is the 9th annual running of the race and features a timed 5k and a timed 1 mile, plus a free untimed 1k fun run. The course starts and ends at the Tucson JCC in the Jill Rosenzweig Memorial Sculpture Garden and follows an out-and-back route on the Rillito River Path.

The listed entry fees are $45 for the 5k, $35 for the 1 mile, and $0 for the 1k fun run. Shirts are included with 5k and 1 mile registration; 1k participants may purchase a shirt for $15. Registration notes include a shirt-size guarantee date of 11/15.
Logistics, awards and extras
Pre-race packet pick-up is at the Tucson JCC on Friday, 12/5, from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. Age divisions are specified for the 5k and the 1 mile, with top finishers receiving race mugs and top overall finishers receiving tumblers. All participants are offered hot chocolate and sufganiyot at the finish. Random raffles, provided prizes, race timing by Road Runner Race Timing, and sponsorship by TMC Health are included in the event information.
