Event
The TMC A-Mountain Half Marathon + Cigna Healthcare 4-Miler + Family Mile takes place in Tucson, AZ on October 18, 2026. The race site is adjacent to the Mercado Annex and the Mercado San Agustin at the base of A-Mountain. The event is part of SAR's Running Shop Grand Prix and is the third race of the 2026 Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown, raising funds for BEYOND-Tucson.

Race details
The half-marathon course circles the summit of A-Mountain (Sentinel Peak) and includes an out-and-back segment along the Santa Cruz riverpath, passing the Mission Garden. The 4-miler circles the top of A-Mountain on an out-and-back route. The half-marathon has a four-hour time limit. Age-group awards and prize money are offered; age-group awards include gift certificates to The Running Shop and prize money for top overall and masters finishers.
Logistics
Packet pickup occurs on race weekend and at specified pre-race locations, including Petroglyphs Emporium (150 South Avenida del Convento) and The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell Ave). The race is capped at 1200 registrants. Shirts and souvenir medallions are guaranteed for the first 1200 registrants; remaining items are available at The Running Shop on a first-come, first-served basis through November.
