TJHS Color Fun Run/Walk for Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness and Holiday Gift Fund
The event is an untimed run and walk held on the grounds of Thomas Jefferson High School in Clairton, Pennsylvania. It raises money for Traumatic Brain Injury awareness and supports school needs such as a Thanksgiving food drive and a Holiday Gift Fund. Donations are optional and will be directed to the Holiday Gift Funds.
Participants will complete a marked course that uses part of the cross country layout. The course includes some rough terrain where the 5K option uses more adventurous sections; these areas will be properly labeled.
Throughout the course there are six color stations. Each station uses a cornstarch based color powder that will be tossed on participants. A group Color Blast takes place before the start. Participants should be mindful of allergies when deciding to register.
Items provided vary by registration timing. Registrants who sign up by Monday October 12, 2026 will receive a black t shirt, a drawstring bag, and two individual color packets. Registration after that date may not guarantee a shirt but will include a drawstring bag and two individual color packets. The listed registration fee is $25 and there is a no t shirt option for $15.
A run packet pickup may be held on November 5 and participants will be informed by email if that occurs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
