Titterstone Clee Fell Race

This is a fell race based at the Village Hall in Cleeton St Mary, Shropshire, postcode DY14 0QW. The course is approximately 4.1 km with about 229 m of ascent and is categorised AS. The event is run as part of the Mercia Shropshire Weekend, in conjunction with the Long Mynd Valleys race.

The route is not waymarked and navigation skills are required. Organisers warn that wintry conditions and very poor visibility should be expected and that it is easy to get lost. Competitors must carry map and compass suitable to navigate the course; photocopies of maps are permitted. Full kit and whole body cover appropriate for the weather, and a whistle, are required. Active use of GPS navigation devices will result in disqualification under the applicable navigation rules.

Entry is available by pre-entry or on the day, with a pre-entry fee of £7 and an on-day fee of £10. Minimum age is 18. Registration takes place at the Village Hall, where parking and toilet facilities are available, and competitors should allow around a 10 minute walk to the start from registration. Teams are not permitted. The race holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
