About the race
The Titan Hybrid Games in Cape Town is an off-road hybrid race combining running with functional fitness stations. The course links nine indoor workout stations with a 600 m running loop around an indoor arena; the running loop uses a mixed pavement-and-grass surface and the indoor arena floor is a soft sand/fibre surface.
Entry options:
- HYBRID TEAM : 5.4 km (excluding stations)
- HYBRID SOLO : 5.4 km (excluding stations)
- SPECTATOR
Teams of two move together through all nine stations and may split the station workload as they choose. Solo athletes complete the full race and workload alone. Team categories include Men’s Doubles (MM), Women’s Doubles (FF), and Mixed Doubles (MX); solo and team divisions are offered in under‑40 and 40+ age groups. Overall podiums recognise the fastest solo male, solo female, male/male, female/female and male/female teams, with additional age-category results.
The nine stations test power, strength, endurance, and mental toughness with activities such as box jump/step overs, bear crawl D-ball pushes, sled drags, farmers carries, burpee broad jumps, rowing, bear hug carries, sandbag lunges, and a sandbag run. Stations are located inside the indoor equestrian arena, and runs occur between stations on the 600 m loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
