Event overview
The Tissington Trail Marathon & Half Marathon is organised by Nice Work and is scheduled for 26 April 2026 at Ashbourne Leisure Centre, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The event offers the following distances:

On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as Marathon: £45 and Half Marathon: £45. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. There is a six hour cut off for the event.
Route and logistics
The course uses the Tissington Trail, a former railway line that runs about 13 miles from Ashbourne to Buxton. The marathon is run as an out-and-back on the traffic-free trail, with an uphill section toward Parsley Hay on the first half and a slightly downhill return to Ashbourne Leisure Centre.
