About the race
Set along the Tissington Trail in Derbyshire, the Tissington Trail Marathon & Half Marathon uses a traffic-free, multi-terrain rail-trail from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. The 13-mile trail section provides a scenic, historic backdrop with a gentle downhill on the return, making it suitable for both seasoned runners and first-timers. Runners can choose the marathon or half marathon distance, with a six-hour cut-off.
Race HQ is at Ashbourne Leisure Centre. Perks include a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies for leading finishers. On-the-day entry is £45 for either distance.
