Denstone 10
The Denstone 10 is a scenic multi terrain run set in the Staffordshire countryside. The event is based at Denstone College and follows a route that passes through Denstone Village and along the Churnet Valley Way. The course allows views and sounds from nearby Alton Towers.
The route is approximately 10 miles and is described as a flat, fast out and back with a single hill near the end. The event has a minimum age of 17 and a capacity of 500 participants. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal.
Prizes are awarded to first, second and third places for men and women, to age group winners in five year bands, and to local residents of Denstone, Alton and Oakamoor. Volunteer roles are available; volunteers receive full training and a free entry into any Race Timing Solutions race. Entry fees are listed at £18 or £20 plus a £1.90 administration fee, with a lower rate for UKA affiliated entrants.
