Event overview
The Denstone 10 is a multi-terrain run in the Staffordshire countryside on 23 August 2026. The event is based at Denstone College and has a capacity of 500 entries. Minimum age to take part is 17. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal. Volunteers receive full training and a free entry into any race listed on the AV Timings website.
Course, entries and prizes
The route starts at Denstone College, passes through Denstone Village and follows the Churnet Valley Way. The course is described as an out-and-back of approximately 10 miles, mostly flat with one hill near the end. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, first male and female in five-year age groups, and to teams (three to count). There is a local resident prize category for Denstone, Alton and Oakamoor residents.
Entry fees are listed as £18/£20 plus a £1.90 administration fee, with a lower rate for UKA-affiliated runners. A bespoke finisher technical t-shirt is available as an upgrade for £9.99.
