Course and format
The course is described as a flat, multi-terrain route on a mixture of trail, tarmac and footpaths through the grade II listed grounds of Elvaston Castle, passing the hall and the Golden Gates. Elevation and lap details are given per distance: the Half Marathon has about 37 m elevation and comprises 4 laps plus one short out-and-back; the 10K has about 18 m elevation over 2 laps; the 5K has about 9 m elevation over 2 laps. Races are chip-timed.
