The Derby Running Festival takes place on Sunday 2 August 2026 at Elvaston Castle Country Park, Derby. The event is Run Britain/UKA licensed and the courses are officially measured. Distances on offer:

Course and entries

The course is described as flat and multi-terrain, using a mixture of trail, tarmac and footpaths through the castle grounds, past the hall and the Golden Gates of the Grade II listed site. Course formats and elevation: the half marathon comprises four laps plus a short out-and-back with total elevation of 37 m; the 10k is two laps with 18 m elevation; the 5k is two laps with 9 m elevation. Included with entries are a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. The event features marshals on course and an event village with food and drink options provided by partners.
