Tissington Trail September Half Marathon Weekend
The event is a Half Marathon held on the Tissington Trail in Derbyshire, running along a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. Races take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September 2027, with the option to enter one or both days. Detailed route maps including GPX files are available.
The course follows a traffic free, multi terrain trail on the former Ashbourne to Buxton railway line and maintains a slight downhill gradient for much of the route. Coach transport to the start at Parsley Hay is provided. The route passes through open areas with views over the Derbyshire Dales.
Entries include a bespoke medal and free photographs, and trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. A listed advance offer price shows £38.50 for each race day; on the day entry is listed at £45 subject to availability. Event information is sent to registered entrants before race day. The event is organised by Nice Work and uses the Tissington Trail between Parsley Hay and Ashbourne as its location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
