Tissington Trail January Half Marathon & 10k Weekend

The event offers two distances along the Tissington Trail, a traffic free former railway line between Ashbourne and Buxton. The route runs out along a gentle uphill and returns on a slight downhill gradient, with views over the Derbyshire Dales. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download.

The races take place across two days, with options to run on Saturday or Sunday. Race headquarters are at Ashbourne Leisure Centre, Clifton Road, DE6 1DR, which is about a 10 minute walk from the start at Mappleton Road, Ashbourne, DE6 2AA.

Included for participants are a bespoke medal and free photographs. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. Entry may be available on the day subject to availability, and the trail is traffic free for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
