About the race
Litton Christmas Cracker is a festive fell race run from Litton village around Miller’s Dale and Cressbrook. The advertised course is 11.8 km / 510 m of ascent and is licensed by the Fell Runners Association (FRA) and governed by FRA rules.
Registration is at Litton Village Hall, SK17 8QX. Parking is limited in Litton village. Toilets are available at the Red Lion Inn. Mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies are provided at the finish.
Entrants must carry the mandatory FRA kit, although requirements may be relaxed depending on conditions. The use of GPS navigation or poles is not allowed. Running with dogs is not allowed. Failure to comply with race rules may result in disqualification.
