TinMan Durban #3
TinMan Durban #3 takes place on 8 November 2026 at Suncoast Casino in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The event is part of the TINMAN Durban 2026 series and uses the coastal setting for sea swimming, closed-road cycling and running on the Durban Promenade toward South Beach and back. Registration is held at the Suncoast Sundeck and online entries close the Thursday before each event.
Distances and race formats include:
- 10km Run (two 5km laps)
- Mini Triathlon: 200m swim / 6km cycle / 2.5km run, min age 8
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim / 12km cycle / 2.5km run, min age 12
- Sprint Triathlon and Relay: 750m swim / 22km cycle / 5km run, min age 16
- Sprint Duathlon: 5km run / 22km cycle / 2.5km run, min age 16
- Challenge Triathlon and Relay: 1.2km swim / 32km cycle / 10km run, min age 17
The event is run under Triathlon SA rules. Athletes must hold an annual Triathlon SA licence or purchase a temporary day licence for the event. Included for entrants are a reusable race number, official timing, medical assistance, swim lifeguards and run marshals, full road closure for the bike leg, a finishers medal and on-course refreshments.
