St. Patrick-Themed Running Event in Hendersonville
The Time to Paddy 5k/10k and Lucky 13.1 is an annual themed running event held at Veterans Park in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This event features a variety of distances to accommodate different preferences, including a half marathon, short-distance road races, and youth-specific activities. The 5k, 10k, and half marathon events are chip-timed with live results and awards provided following the races.
Participants can choose from several event distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.2 miles (10k)
- 3.1 miles (5k)
- 1 mile (Untimed)
- 50 meter Kid's Dash (Ages 10 and under)
Registration for the timed events includes a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight two Thursdays prior to the race day. Younger participants aged 12 and under receive specific pricing for the 5k and 10k distances. The 1-mile run and the 50-meter kid's dash are untimed options, with the latter offering a smaller bib and a specifically crafted medal.
The event also features a team registration component. Groups that form a team may be eligible for partial refunds once the team reaches a minimum of five or ten members. A "Biggest Paddy" award is presented to the largest participating team. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option is available, which includes a digital bib and mailed event swag.
