Event Overview
The Spooky Sprint is an annual Halloween-themed running event held in Louisville, Kentucky. The event offers a variety of distances and formats to accommodate participants of different interests and ages. All registered participants in the standard running categories receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (untimed, for ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Run (remote option)
The 10K, 5K, and Half Marathon events feature chip-timing with live results and awards. Participants have access to free event photos and receive refreshments at the finish line. The Kids Dash is specifically designed for children aged 10 and under, with registration providing a youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a specialized medal; children may also participate in the dash for free if they do not require the commemorative items.
For those unable to attend the physical location, a Virtual Run option allows participants to complete their run at any location while still receiving the event shirt and medal. Additionally, a Volunteer then Run category is available where individuals assist with event setup and packet pickup before participating in a distance of their choice.
