St. Patrick-Themed Running Event in Lee’s Summit
The Time to Paddy 5k/10k & Lucky 13.1 is an annual St. Patrick-themed running event taking place at Longview College in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The event features a variety of distances and activities designed for participants of different ages and interests.
The event includes the following distances and categories:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k
- 5k
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kid's Dash (untimed for ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Run (run at any location or time)
Registered participants for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. These events are chip-timed, with live results and awards available immediately following the finish. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash also include shirts and medals, though these distances are not timed.
The race venue provides a dedicated post-race area with snacks and an after-party atmosphere. Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers overall, in the masters category (40+), and across various age groups ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. Free photos are provided to all participants after the event. A "biggest team" contest is also held for groups attending together.
Registration for the 5k and 10k offers youth-based pricing for participants aged 12 and under. For those choosing the virtual option, packets including the bib, shirt, and medal are mailed out the Wednesday following the physical race.
