Timberview Trail Run
The Timberview Trail Run is a trail running event held at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado. The 2027 edition is the eighth annual running of this event and is USATF sanctioned. The event offers three course distances and uses marked routes with volunteers stationed along the way.
Distances
- 10 mile double loop of the 5 mile course.
- 5 mile technical trails with more turns and elevation gain.
- 5K easier route, described as beginner friendly and suitable for children.
All courses pass the same aid stations supplying water, fuel and electrolyte drink in 100 percent biodegradable cups. Aid stations also provide dog water bowls. Alternate wet weather routes are prepared in case park trail closures are required. Course layouts may be adjusted for weather and athletes are responsible for knowing the course.
Parking at the park can be limited; a parking pass is required and parking on the west side of Lodgepole Road is restricted. Volunteers assist with parking. Bib pickup is available the Friday before the race and on race morning. Every registered athlete receives an event shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free event photos, post race food and drinks, and professional chip timing.
