Timberview Trail Run at Lory State Park
The Timberview Trail Run is scheduled for June 27, 2026 at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado (708 N Co Rd 25G). The event is listed as a USATF sanctioned race and marks the seventh annual running of the Timberview Trail Run.
Distances offered include:
- 10 mile double loop of the 5 mile course
- 5 mile technical trails with more turns and elevation gain
- 5K easier intro to trail running; described as beginner friendly and suitable for children
The courses run among treetops with views of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the foothills. Aid stations are placed along the routes and will provide water, fuel and an electrolyte drink using 100 percent biodegradable cups. All aid stations will include water bowls for dogs.
Parking at the venue can be limited; volunteers will assist with parking and certain parking restrictions apply, including no parking on the west side of Lodgepole Road. A parking pass may be required at the ranger booth when picking up a race bib on race day; race bibs can include a parking pass option.
Event entries include an athlete shirt in forest green, a finisher medal with a three dimensional wood design, a race bib, free event photos, post race food and drinks, and professional chip timing.
