Timberline Trail Run
Timberline Trail Run is a summer trail running event hosted by Crosscut Mountain Sports Center in collaboration with the Montana State University Nordic Ski Team. It takes place on Crosscut’s trail network in Bridger Canyon, outside Bozeman, Montana, on Sunday September 27, 2026.
The event offers multiple race distances and a kids run. Entry fees for 2026 are listed as follows:
- 20 km Timberline entry fee $40
- 10 km Timberline entry fee $35
- 5 km Bobcat entry fee $30
- Kids run entry fee $5
Proceeds from the Bobcat 5 km support the Montana State University Nordic Ski Team. Course maps for 2026 have not yet been finalized. Awards are given to the top three men and women in each timed event.
Parking is organized at the Crosscut Event Stadium and accessed from D Lot. The race start and finish are planned at the Crosscut Event Stadium off Wedeln Drive accessed from Bridger Bowl Road. Volunteers are requested to support event operations.
Event policies state that entry fees are non refundable and non transferable, and events may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled because of weather, air quality, or course conditions.
