Event Overview
The Timber Trails 5K Run/Walk is organized by Eaton County Parks and Recreation. It is the 9th annual edition of the event.
Location & Course
The event takes place at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan. The course goes over grass, gravel roads, and wooded trails. It features varying elevation.
Registration & Pricing
Registration opens on April 12, 2026. The standard fee is $25 until October 4, after which it increases to $30. A group discount is available when registering three or more people simultaneously, offering a $3 saving per participant. A donation-based discount is also mentioned: donating $50 provides a $10 entry discount, and donating $25 provides a $5 discount. Registration before September 17 guarantees a long sleeve t-shirt.

Awards are given in several categories:
- Top Overall Male and Female
- Top Masters Male and Female
- Medals for the top three runners in each age group for male and female participants
Age groups are listed as: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Event Logistics
Packet pickup begins at 7:45 AM on the event day. Professional timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results posted live during the event.
