Trinity First Tiger Trek

Trinity First School presents the 3rd Annual Tiger Trek at Phalen Regional Park in Saint Paul on September 12, 2026. The event offers two course options and is organized by a Christian school that serves a diverse, high need population in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. The school enrolls more than 140 students from age 3 through grade 8 and receives about 95% of its income from donations.

The event includes:

• 5K Run / Walk
• 1 Mile Run / Walk

All participants in the 5K and 1 Mile receive a performance tech shirt, a finisher medal, a swag bag, a commemorative gift, and a chip timed race bib. The 5K course includes a water stop at mile 2. Live musicians perform on the course and a Tiger mascot will be available for participant interaction and photos. Post race food and beverages will be served and an awards and recognition program will follow the race activities.

Trinity First reports just under 300 registrations in its second year and anticipates over 350 participants for this edition. Ten percent of entry fees will be donated to The Dwelling Place. Sponsorship opportunities start at $500 and may include logo placement on shirts, signage, and race materials depending on level. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
