Trinity First Tiger Trek at Phalen Regional Park
The Trinity First Tiger Trek is the third annual community run and walk held at Phalen Regional Park in Saint Paul on September 12, 2026. The event offers two course options:
- 5K Run / Walk
- 1 Mile Run / Walk
Trinity First School organizes the event. The school is a Christian school located in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis that serves a diverse, high need population of more than 140 students from age 3 through grade 8. About 95% of the school’s income comes from donations. Organizers reported just under 300 race registrations in the second year and expect higher participation for this edition.
All registered participants in both distances receive a performance tech runner’s shirt, a finisher’s medal, a swag bag, a commemorative gift, a chip timed race bib, and post race food and liquid refreshments. The 5K course includes a water stop at mile 2. Live musicians perform on the course and a Tiger mascot will be present for photos. Awards and recognition follow the race activities.
Sponsorship opportunities start at $500 and can include logo placement, signage, complimentary entries, and inclusion of sponsor items in swag bags. Ten percent of race entry fees will be donated to The Dwelling Place, which provides safe transitional housing and Christ centered supportive services for women and children affected by domestic abuse.
