Event details
The 38th Annual Tiger Run 5K Run & Walk is presented by the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans. The event is a 5K run and walk held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Audubon Park Shelter #10 in New Orleans. The event includes a post-race celebration with music, games, and complimentary food and beverages. Finishers may receive a participation shirt and a finishers medal. An awards presentation will take place after the race. Day-of registration and late packet pick-up will be available.
Registration and purpose
Registration is non-refundable and is considered a donation to the LSUHSC School of Medicine’s student-run charitable organizations to fund community service projects. The event states that proceeds support activities such as stocking medical supplies for Student Run Community Clinics and providing activities for children in the New Orleans Women and Children Shelter Outreach Program.
Early registration (until March 22, 2026) is listed at $25 for students and $35 for non-students. Race-week registration (March 22, 2026 until the race) is listed at $30 for students and $40 for non-students. Children 12 and under are listed at $15.
