Tiger Peak Challenge

The Tiger Peak Challenge is a trail race held on June 27, 2026, in Tiger Mountain State Forest near Issaquah, WA. The event offers three distances and uses trails that pass through forests, wetlands, and ridge lines on the Tradition Plateau and West Tiger summits.

The half marathon and 50K routes visit two of Tiger Mountain’s peaks. The Section Line trail climbs over 1300 ft in less than one mile to the summit of West Tiger 1. Elevation gain is listed as 600 ft for the 5 mile, about 4000 ft for the half, and about 9000 ft for the 50K. The 50K course consists of two loops.

Runners start and finish at Clark Elementary School (335 1st Ave SE, Issaquah, WA). Trails remain open to other users during the event. Aid stations are placed along each course with volunteers, food, and hydration; locations are provided for each distance on the course materials.

The event is cupless; all participants must carry a refillable container. Packet pick-up is available before race day. The organizer acknowledges the Indigenous land of Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe.
