Course and race information
Half-marathon and 50K courses include climbs to two Tiger Mountain peaks and a climb on the Section Line trail that gains over 1,300 ft in less than 1 mile to West Tiger 1. Runners start from Clark Elementary, follow 1st Ave and SE Bush Street onto the Rainier Trail, cross SE 2nd Ave, and begin the long climb up the High School trail. The 5-mile route turns left to follow gently graded trails through Tradition Plateau. Half runners and 50K runners split after West Tiger Aid; 50K participants complete an additional loop before rejoining the main route.
Aid stations are placed along the course with volunteers, food, and hydration. Finish-line food and treats are provided. The event is organized by Evergreen Trail Runs, founded in 2010 and operating as a sister brand to Orca Running.
Entry and refund policy
No refunds are issued. Options with fees are available: defer entry to the next year, transfer the entry to another runner up until race start, or switch to another Evergreen event with open registration. Requests for deferral or switches must follow the event's stated deadlines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
