Tiffin Zombie Run
The Tiffin Zombie Run takes place at Steyer Nature Preserve in Tiffin, Ohio. The event includes running and walking options and a role for participants who act as course "zombies." Zombies hide along the route and try to remove the caution-tape strips or sashes that other participants wear; the objective for nonzombie participants is to reach the finish line with all three sashes intact.

- Three miles for zombie participants
Registration opens May 30, 2026 and closes October 16, 2026. The standard registration fee is $35 per participant for all ages. Registering by October 1 guarantees a race shirt. Kids age four and under are free; an optional youth shirt is available for purchase on the event day. Race day registration is available at a higher fee and a shirt is not guaranteed.
Additional on-site features include refreshments available for purchase at High Voltage Coffee Company, Halloween-themed face painting from Ace of Face, raffle baskets, and photo opportunities. Awards are planned for the top three finishers in the 5K and for the top three costumes. All proceeds benefit CASA of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties. CASA trains volunteers to advocate in court for abused and neglected children; volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
