Event Details
The event is held at the Millville Army Airfield Museum, located at 1 Leddon St. The museum preserves the history of the Millville Army Air Field, which was dedicated in 1941 as "America's First Defense Airport." During its operation, over 10,000 personnel served there, and 1,500 pilots trained in P-47 Thunderbolt and P-40 Warhawk fighter planes. The museum honors 14 pilots who died during training.
Post-Race Activities
A post-race reception is held next door at Glasstown Brewing Company. This includes a music open mic session and a food truck. Participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary beer. One dollar from each beer sold during the event is also donated to the museum.
Participant Items and Awards
Participants receive several items, including finisher medals, a pint glass, and a coaster. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each category. Post-race photos are taken.
